Crispy Chicken Tenders with Dipping Sauce

Instructions:

  1. Marinate Chicken:
    In a bowl, combine chicken tenders, buttermilk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight in the fridge for best flavor).
  2. Breading Setup:
    Set up 3 bowls:
    • Flour in one
    • Beaten eggs in the second
    • Breadcrumbs in the third
  3. Coat Tenders:
    Remove chicken from marinade. Dip each piece in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs. Press firmly to adhere.
  4. Fry:
    Heat about 1/2 inch of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry chicken tenders in batches for 3–4 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp 165°F / 75°C). Drain on paper towels.

🥣 Dipping Sauce Ideas

1. Classic Honey Mustard:

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Dash of lemon juice

2. Garlic Ranch Dip:

  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

3. Spicy Mayo:

  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tsp lime juice
