    Homemade Pizza Recipe

    Ingredients:

    • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
    • 1 teaspoon sugar
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • ¾ cup warm water
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil

    Toppings:

    Feel free to choose from a variety of toppings commonly found on pizzas, such as:

    • Tomato sauce
    • Mozzarella cheese
    • Pepperoni
    • Mushrooms
    • Onions
    • Bell peppers
    • Olives
    • Italian seasoning

    Instructions:

    1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
    2. Add the warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a soft dough forms.
    3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic.
    4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
    5. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
    6. Punch down the dough and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
    7. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a greased baking sheet or pizza stone.
    8. Spread tomato sauce evenly over the dough and add your desired toppings.
    9. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
    10. Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
