🇭🇺 Hungarian Kifli Cookies (Vaníliás Kifli)

Buttery walnut crescents

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup (100g) ground walnuts (or almonds or hazelnuts)
  • 1/2 cup (60g) powdered sugar, for the dough
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar (or 1 tsp vanilla extract)
  • A pinch of salt

For rolling:

  • 1 cup (120g) powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
