🥞 Pancake Sausage Breakfast Bake

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the sausage:
    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat and set aside.
  3. Prepare the pancake batter:
    • In a large bowl, whisk together pancake mix, milk, eggs, vanilla, maple syrup, and cinnamon (if using) until smooth.
  4. Assemble the bake:
    • Pour half of the pancake batter into the baking dish.
    • Sprinkle the cooked sausage evenly over the batter.
    • If using, sprinkle in cheddar cheese.
    • Pour the remaining batter over the top to cover.
  5. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
  6. Cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with maple syrup drizzled on top. 🍁
