🍫 Chocolate Crunch Bars


🧑‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Melt:

  • In a saucepan (or microwave-safe bowl), combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter.
  • Heat gently over low heat (or in 30-second microwave intervals), stirring until smooth and fully melted.

2. Mix:

  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla if using.
  • Add rice cereal and stir until fully coated in the chocolate mixture.

3. Set:

  • Pour mixture into a parchment-lined 8×8-inch pan.
  • Press down gently into an even layer (use a spatula or wax paper).

4. Chill:

  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until firm.
  • Cut into squares or bars.

🧊 Storage:

  • Store in the fridge for a firmer bar, or at room temp if you like them a little softer.
  • They keep for up to a week — if they last that long!

🍬 Variations:

  • Swap peanut butter for Nutella, almond butter, or sunflower seed butter.
  • Add crushed pretzels, mini marshmallows, or dried fruit.
  • Use white chocolate or dark chocolate for different vibes.
