
👩🍳 Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- Make the crust:
- Mix flour and powdered sugar.
- Cut in the butter until crumbly.
- Press into the bottom of the baking dish.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Prepare cream cheese layer:
- Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add egg and vanilla. Beat well.
- Spread evenly over the baked crust.
- Prepare lemon layer:
- Whisk eggs, sugar, flour, lemon juice, and zest.
- Gently pour over the cream cheese layer.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until set in the center and lightly golden.
- Cool completely, then refrigerate at least 2 hours before slicing.
- Serve with whipped cream or a dusting of powdered sugar.
